Description

Drum heater T-Series rapidLine is a flexible heating jacket for 25–30 L drums, rated 400 W at 230 VAC with a maximum permissible operating temperature of 200 °C. Outer material is PTFE-coated glass-silk fabric; fastening uses adjustable lashing straps with buckles and hooks for drum circumferences of 870–1,150 mm. Height is 480 mm and net weight is 2,5 kg. The design provides particularly uniform heat distribution and heat input. Operation is always required together with a temperature controller; controller W3105-5651 (WRL430PW-0200WIN2) is specified for this heater. For heat-up, the optionally available insulating lid is recommended, and heat losses via the vessel base should be minimised on site, for example with an insulating underlay. Built to protection class I and IP54 by manufacturer Winkler, the heaters are intended for protected use; outdoors they should be shielded from direct environmental influences, such as under a protective canopy. Supplied as 1 piece.

Questions about Drum heater T-Series rapidLine 30L 230V 400W Tmax. 200°C

What is this article?

Drum heater T-Series rapidLine 30L 230V 400W Tmax. 200°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
