Description
Drying and heating oven FED 56UL-120V is a forced-air laboratory oven from the FED Avantgarde.Line series for flexible drying and heating tasks. The temperature range extends from +10 °C above ambient temperature to +300 °C, with a nominal volume of 60 l. High temperature accuracy is supported by APT.line™ technology, and adjustable fan speed enables tailored air circulation. The controller provides an LCD display with extended time functions, while an electromechanical exhaust air flap control and two chrome-plated racks complete the working chamber setup. The unit is stackable and includes an integrated class 2 temperature selector limiter according to DIN 12880 with optical alarm, ergonomic handle design, an Ethernet interface, and a USB port for data recording. Compared with typical market devices it can be up to 30% more energy-efficient. Controllable parameter is temperature. Supplied as one piece with United States type A/B mains plug from manufacturer Binder, this oven suits laboratories that need adaptable temperature and air-circulation control for drying, heating, and related thermal processes.

Questions about Drying and heating chambers FED 56UL-120V
What is this article?
Drying and heating chambers FED 56UL-120V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
