Description
Drying and heating oven M260-400V is engineered for material testing and ageing work across a temperature range from +14 °C above ambient up to +300 °C. High temperature accuracy is provided by APT.line™ technology with reinforced heating performance, complemented by a powerful adjustable-speed fan that generates high air throughput for rapid heating. The exhaust air flap is electromechanically controlled, and an intuitive touchscreen controller supports time-segment as well as real-time programming. Two chrome-plated shelves are supplied with the unit. Protective functions include a Class 2 temperature selector limiter (DIN 12880) and a Class 3.1 temperature selector monitor (DIN 12880) with optical/acoustic alarm selectable on the controller, together with a failsafe backup Pt 100 sensor. An Ethernet computer interface and an internal data logger with USB readout of measured values in open format facilitate documentation and process oversight. From manufacturer Binder, the M series combines a maximum temperature of +300 °C with versatile programming, making it suitable for demanding laboratory and industrial thermal testing under forced convection.

Questions about Drying and heating chambers M260-400V
What is this article?
Drying and heating chambers M260-400V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
