DURAN® GL 45 HPLC reservoir bottles with GL 45 side neck are designed for storage and dispensing of mobile phases and solvents in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The bottle has a useful capacity of 2000 ml and an additional GL 45 side neck that allows solvent to be added without removing the main connection, improving working convenience. Up to five HPLC closures can be fitted on the bottle. Clear DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 is manufactured to ISO 3585 and classified as Type I, Class A low-expansion borosilicate glass per ASTM E438-1992, offering a very low profile of extractable inorganic ions. Closed bottles help reduce escape and spillage of volatile organic compounds (VOC). The GL 45 thread is compatible with standard HPLC closures. Available from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, each bottle carries a Retrace Code with certificate for manufacturing-batch traceability. Typical uses include reservoirs for HPLC mobile phases and reagent supply for liquid-handling systems and analysers.
