DURAN® micro burette class AS with Schellbach stripe and glass key is a 1 ml volumetric instrument intended for precise titrimetric work. Manufactured from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, it carries a precise scale that allows the previously unknown liquid volume required for a titration to be read accurately once the reaction is complete. Adjustment is performed to deliver (Ex) at a reference temperature of + 20 °C, so dispensed volumes correspond to the scale markings because liquid adhesion on the glass was taken into account during calibration. Volume tolerances match the error limits of ISO and DIN for accuracy class AS. This model from Duran/DWK Life Sciences is fitted with a straight NS stopcock and glass key and is supplied with both a certificate of conformity and a batch certificate. The batch certificate records the mean value from measurements of the production lot, the standard deviation and the issue date; certificates are also retrievable online. Main-point ring graduation, Schellbach stripe for clearer meniscus reading and a waiting time of 30 seconds complete the specification. Typical uses include titration, volumetry and quantitative analysis.
