Dynamic climate chamber MKF720-480V-C is a large environmental simulation cabinet of the MKF series for cold and heat testing according to customary DIN and IEC temperature and climate test standards. Its 734 l stainless-steel interior covers −40 °C to +180 °C and relative humidity from 10 % r.h. to 98 % r.h., using APT.line™ preheating chamber technology, capacitive humidity control with steam humidification and programmable condensation protection. A heated viewing window with LED interior lighting, integrated 20 L water reservoir, CFC-free refrigerant R-452A and compression refrigeration support demanding climate cycles. The touchscreen controller provides time-segment and real-time programming, adjustable ramp function, integrated chart recorder and real-time clock; an internal data logger allows open-format readout via USB, while Ethernet serves as the computer interface. Safety features include optical and acoustic fault diagnosis, class 2 temperature selector limiter (DIN 12880), door heating and an alarm for water shortage in the fresh-water canister. Two 80 mm access ports with silicone plugs (left and right), one stainless-steel shelf, four casters (two lockable) and hose rupture protection with water supply and drain up to 1 m height facilitate installation. Four potential-free switching contacts and APT-COM™ 4 Basic Edition software round out the unit from manufacturer Binder.
