Description

Equipment package K90 provides a complete interior fitting solution for laboratory safety storage cabinets, combining load-bearing trays, spill containment and pull-out organisation in one coordinated set. The package contains three tray bottoms (HF.ML.27196) made of powder-coated sheet steel finished in RAL 7035 light grey; each tray offers a load capacity of 150 kg and a collection volume of 12 litres. A single bottom collecting tray STAWA-R (HF.ML.7455), likewise fabricated from powder-coated sheet steel in RAL 7035 light grey, supplies an additional 22-litre retention volume at floor level. Four pull-out shelves (HF.I.27353) complete the assembly; these shelves feature a material-board/PP construction with integrated PP trays, each rated for 25 kg and 11 litres. Supplied as a ready-to-install package from manufacturer Asecos, the components share a uniform light-grey appearance that integrates cleanly with standard cabinet interiors. With a net weight of 35,000 kg the set is intended exclusively for shipment together with the corresponding main cabinet article, despatched from the factory in Gründau. The combination of high load ratings, defined retention volumes and corrosion-resistant powder-coated surfaces makes the package suitable for organised storage of laboratory chemicals and consumables inside K90-series cabinets.

Questions about Equipment packages K90

What is this article?

Equipment packages K90 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Safety cabinet accessories & equipment packages, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Lab safety equipment.

Cabinet accessories are the shelves, the sumps, the earthing leads and the vent kits a safety cabinet is completed with. A shelf from a different cabinet width does not fit. A vent kit is what connects the cabinet to an exhaust, and it is not optional when the cabinet was specified that way.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
