Description

Equipment package Q90 is a ready-to-install interior fitting set for laboratory safety storage cabinets of the Q90 series. The package contains three standard shelves, one perforated sheet-metal insert and one bottom sump tray, all fabricated from powder-coated sheet steel finished in RAL 7035 light grey. Each shelf and the perforated insert carry a rated load of 75 kg, enabling secure placement of reagent bottles, containers and laboratory vessels. The STAWA-R bottom sump provides a retention volume of 22 litres for secondary containment of accidental spills. Supplied as one complete package with a net weight of 25 kg from manufacturer Asecos, the set is intended for shipment together with the corresponding main cabinet article. Powder-coated surfaces withstand routine laboratory handling and cleaning while the modular layout supports organised chemical storage. Ideal for equipping new Q90 cabinets or refreshing existing installations in research, industrial and educational laboratories that require compliant internal fittings and reliable spill retention.

Questions about Equipment packages Q90

What is this article?

Equipment packages Q90 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Safety cabinet accessories & equipment packages, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Lab safety equipment.

Cabinet accessories are the shelves, the sumps, the earthing leads and the vent kits a safety cabinet is completed with. A shelf from a different cabinet width does not fit. A vent kit is what connects the cabinet to an exhaust, and it is not optional when the cabinet was specified that way.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
