Description
EUROSTAR 200 control is an extremely powerful electronic laboratory stirrer for highly viscous media and intensive mixing of volumes up to 100 l (H2O). It combines a removable remote control with a multilingual digital TFT display and microprocessor regulation that holds the set speed constant across two ranges from 0/6 to 2,000 min⁻¹. RS 232 and USB interfaces enable control and documentation of all parameters, while an integrated torque trend display tracks viscosity changes in the sample. An electronic safety circuit provides shut-off on fault or overload; set and actual speeds are continuously matched so rotation remains stable as viscosity varies. Programmable functions, integrated temperature measurement, interval operation, timer, adjustable safety circuit, lock function, stepless speeds, push-through shafts, overload protection, slim design, quiet running and error-code display complete the feature set. Supplied from manufacturer IKA with H 67.60 temperature sensor and WH 11 WiCo holder included, this single-unit stirrer has a net weight of 6,600 kg.
This article is part of Overhead stirrers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about EUROSTAR 200 control, Electronic overhead stirrer
What is this article?
EUROSTAR 200 control, Electronic overhead stirrer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Overhead stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
An overhead stirrer drives a shaft from above, for volumes and viscosities a magnetic bar cannot move. Torque and speed range are the ratings. The chuck and the stand are part of using it. A high-speed disperser is a different head.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
