The EXPell reload system consists of compact towers holding insert plates of 96 tips each; simply remove a plate and place it into an empty compatible rack to refill. Nested packing cuts shipping volume by up to 75 % compared with stacked standard racks and markedly reduces plastic waste, since only the tip inserts are consumed while racks can be reused and the outer carton is recyclable. The slim tower footprint also saves bench and storage space. Tips are non-sterile, without filter, and feature a low-binding surface; empty racks are autoclavable up to 121 °C. This carton supplies 10 × 10 × 96 pieces (9600 tips total) and works with matching CAPP racks of the same volume.
