The funnel "ARNOLD" with lid V2.0 S60/61 is an electrically conductive safety funnel engineered for safe disposal of hazardous liquid waste, particularly explosive or flammable materials. It has a funnel diameter of 200 mm and is produced from electrically conductive high-density polyethylene (PE-HD), complete with splash protection, removable sieve, grounding cable and hinged lid. Two independent safety mechanisms—an integrated ball in the funnel trough and a sealing ring built into the hinged lid—stop toxic gases from escaping. The conductive PE-HD material allows static charges to be dissipated through the grounding cable. Manufactured by SCAT, the funnel offers enhanced stability and long service life, resisting deformation under demanding conditions. An optimised sieve retains larger particles and provides a rest for laboratory bottles, while the splash guard incorporates air channels to prevent bubble formation. The ball valve opens automatically during filling and the safety lance can be individually shortened for clean liquid waste discharge. Essential components are fully removable for easy cleaning.
