HBC 5 control is a heating bath and circulation thermostat with a maximum working temperature of 250 °C and a stainless-steel bath of 5–7 litres fill volume. A colour TFT graphic display presents all relevant process data; the user can switch between internal and external control at the push of a button. High-quality insulation enables especially rapid heat-up. Multilingual, icon-supported menu navigation via push-and-turn knobs keeps operation simple and secure. Temperature range is 20–250 °C with temperature constancy of ± 0,01 K. The innovative detachable wireless remote control allows safe operation from up to 10 m, for example in front of a closed fume hood. Temperature set-point, pump speed, fill level and safety temperature appear on the large TFT display. A powerful pressure/suction pump in temperature- and chemical-resistant plastic, integrated cooling coil, adjustable safety circuit and safety classification III (FL) per DIN 12876 are included. Further features comprise an electronic timer (0–99 h 59 min), optical and acoustic warnings, optional solenoid-valve connection, and USB/RS 232 interfaces for labworldsoft® control and online firmware updates.
