Description
PILZ® Classic-Line U2ER housing heating mantle is a robust laboratory heater for 6000 ml round-bottom flasks (Ø 236 mm), delivering 1000 W at 230 VAC with a maximum permissible operating temperature of 450 °C. The rectangular powder-coated metal housing offers high chemical resistance, while the heating element is hand-crocheted from glass silk for even heat transfer. Two independently switchable heating zones, a main on/off switch and an integrated mechanical power controller allow continuous power adjustment from 0 to 100 %. Status indication for the heating function, a detachable plug connection (0,50 m) and a residual-current protective plug with Schuko cable type E/F (1,00 m) complete the equipment set. Net weight is 5 kg (gross 5,4 kg); housing width is 300 mm and height 195 mm. This mantle from manufacturer Winkler is intended for controlled heating of large flask volumes in laboratory and technical environments where stable high-temperature performance and chemical durability are required.
