A hand-crocheted glass-silk heating element in protection class I sits inside a powder-coated metal housing with high chemical resistance. The two-part design features a liquid-tight upper section, permanent volume labelling, and safety switches that help prevent unintended operation. Controls comprise a main on/off switch and a heating-zone switch with integrated “heating” status lamp for zone 1 or zones 1+2.
