Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-52 is a ready-to-use multi-element calibration standard formulated for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. This ROTI®Star preparation contains 14 elements—Al, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Na, Ni, Si, Ti, Zn and Zr—each at 100 mg/l in a 5 %. HNO3 matrix, supporting simultaneous multi-element calibration and quality-control workflows in analytical laboratories. The nitric acid matrix helps maintain element stability in solution and is compatible with typical ICP-MS sample introduction systems. The CR-52 composition from manufacturer Carl ROTH is intended for laboratories performing trace-element analysis across environmental, materials and research applications where a defined multi-element mix in dilute nitric acid is required. UN number 3264 applies to transport classification. Use according to laboratory ICP-MS methods and internal quality procedures for standards handling and dilution.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about Multi-Element ICP-MS Standard Solution CR-52, 100 ml, 14 elements in 5 % HNO3

What is this article?

Multi-Element ICP-MS Standard Solution CR-52, 100 ml, 14 elements in 5 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
