Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-101 is a ROTI®Star multi-element calibration solution with six elements at 1000 mg/l in 5%. HNO3. It contains arsenic, barium, cadmium, nickel, lead and antimony for trace-level work by ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS and ion chromatography in water analysis. Physical data include a density of about 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 83 °C, with transport classification UN 3264. size suits regular calibration, method verification and quality control in analytical laboratories. This CR-101 standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH supports simultaneous multi-element measurement where As, Ba, Cd, Ni, Pb and Sb must be quantified together. The dilute nitric acid matrix is typical for stable storage and introduction of metal standards into plasma and flame systems. Designed for environmental monitoring, industrial QC and contract testing laboratories that require a defined six-element ICP standard for aqueous matrices.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about Multi-Element ICP Standard Solution CR-101, 100 ml, 6 elements in 5 % HNO3

What is this article?

Multi-Element ICP Standard Solution CR-101, 100 ml, 6 elements in 5 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
