Description
Culture cultivation device (Jumo control) 4 × 5 litres is a multi-vessel incubator for controlled pasteurisation, maturation and final cooling of cultures. Its white polypropylene (PP) housing with 10 mm wall thickness integrates a touchscreen panel that manages up to 50 programmes with automatic parameter storage. Pasteurisation temperature is adjustable from 10 °C to 99 °C for 1 minute to 100 hours; maturation runs from 10 °C to 60 °C over the same interval; and final cooling is set between 10 °C and 40 °C. Culture vessels are chrome-nickel steel with lids and stirrers, while mother-culture bottles are Duranglas. A chrome-nickel steel heating element and a circulation pump rated at 15 litres/min support uniform thermal conditions, with water inlet via a ½ inch hose connection. The assembly rests on an anodised aluminium square-tube underframe (25 × 25 mm) and requires a 3~400/N/PE 16 A mains supply. From manufacturer Aerne Analytic, this configuration enables reproducible culture processing across four 5 litre vessels in laboratory and production workflows.
This article is part of Heating & cooling (other), in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about Incubator (Jumo-Control) 4x5 Liter
What is this article?
Incubator (Jumo-Control) 4x5 Liter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Aerne Analytic for laboratory use. It sits in Heating & cooling (other), inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
This shelf holds heating and cooling equipment that is not a furnace, a mantle, a bath, an oven or an incubator. The question is still the range, the stability and what the heat actually touches.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
