IoT-Line platform scale KERN IFC 150K20DM is a robust industrial platform balance engineered to heavy industrial standard for harsh working environments. The instrument offers up to three interfaces and optional verification capability. Cross-product consistency in design, menu structure, key functions, interface connection and protocol follows the familiar KERN operating philosophy, supporting efficient multi-device workflows. Industry 4.0 readiness is provided by the KERN Universal Port (KUP): data and control commands can run through one interface on the housing or, via the KUP Extension Box, through three interfaces simultaneously. Choose from RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth; each channel can be set independently—for example continuous WLAN process documentation, RS-232 printout of stable weights, or analogue module control at target weight. A built-in real-time clock logs results with accurate timestamps and continues correctly after power loss. Optional alibi memory enables paperless archiving and compliant electronic processing of verified weighings. Remote query and control from computer or CRM/ERP systems use the KERN Communication Protocol. An easily accessible housing simplifies battery replacement while protecting the verification seal on calibrated models. The platform features a stainless-steel weighing plate, painted steel understructure and silicone-coated aluminium load cell with IP65 protection against dust and splash water. Bench stand with wall mount for the display unit and a protective working cover are supplied as standard (Kern).
