Description
Laboratory stand BOY 105, blue is a height-adjustable laboratory table designed to hold oil baths, hot plates, electrical instruments, Dewar vessels and comparable equipment at the desired height without the need for locking. The platform measures 80 x 75 mm and provides a stroke/adjustability range of 49–147 mm. Static load capacity is 15 kg and maximum load capacity is 30 kg. Height adjustment is accomplished safely by means of a scissor-grid mechanism that can be operated by hand with a rotary knob or optionally with a motor. The stand can stand freely on the bench surface or be attached to support frames up to 16 mm diameter using additional stand plates. Produced from anodically oxidised light metals by manufacturer LAT, it is corrosion-resistant and finished in blue. This laboratory lift delivers stable, continuously variable elevation for a wide range of laboratory apparatus in research and analytical work, combining durable construction with convenient manual or motorised control for everyday laboratory use.

Questions about Jack BOY type 105
What is this article?
Jack BOY type 105 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes LAT for laboratory use. It sits in Stands, rods & bases, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.
A retort stand is a base and a rod. The base mass keeps a clamped flask from tipping. Rod diameter decides which bossheads fit. A light base under a heavy condenser is how glassware falls.
A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
