Description

LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 recirculating cooler is a laboratory circulation chiller offering a working temperature range of −10 to 40 °C with 0,5 ± K temperature stability to DIN 12876. It combines a one-line LED display for actual or setpoint readout, intuitive menu navigation and three-button control with a fully electronic continuous controller. A magnetically coupled block pump delivers maximum 1,3 bar and 35 L/min through G 3/4'' external connections, supported by adjustable pressure-limiting bypass, pump winding-temperature monitoring, illuminated level display and under-level alarm. Cooling capacity reaches 1,2 kW at 20 °C (ethanol), 1,05 kW at 10 °C, 0,75 kW at 0 °C and 0,4 kW at −10 °C. Bath fill volume is 7 to 14 L; external dimensions are 450 × 550 × 650 mm, net weight 63 kg and sound pressure level 59 dB(A). The air-cooled design from manufacturer Lauda includes RS 232 interface, auto-start timer and auto-shut-down, top fill opening and rear drain, and is intended for non-flammable fluids such as water or water/glycol. Electrical supply is 230 V; 50 Hz with angled Schuko plug (CEE7/7); maximum power consumption is 1,15 kW at 6,5 A. Two 3/4'' hose olives with G 3/4 union nuts are supplied as standard.

Questions about LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 Circulation chiller 230 V; 50 Hz

What is this article?

LAUDA Microcool MC 1200 Circulation chiller 230 V; 50 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
