Designed for the Eppendorf Research® plus single-channel pipette with a nominal volume of 1 000 µL, it carries the blue colour code for easy visual identification. The PTFE-coated construction provides improved durability when pipetting highly aggressive chemicals such as trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). After installation of this lower part, a full pipette calibration is recommended to maintain volumetric accuracy. Note that the component is not autoclavable. This spare part from manufacturer Eppendorf enables laboratories to restore or upgrade chemical resistance of existing Research® plus instruments without replacing the entire pipette.
