Description

Measuring pipette, graduated, Class A, 10 ml is a precision laboratory pipette for accurate volumetric liquid handling. It is graduated with normal scale orientation (zero at the top), adjusted to deliver (TD, Ex) and designed in accordance with ISO 835. A colour band conforming to ISO 1769 supports rapid visual identification of the nominal capacity during routine bench work. Partial volumes can be selected along the graduated stem, giving greater flexibility than single-mark volumetric pipettes for dilutions, reagent preparation and sample aliquoting. Supplied in a pack of 5 pieces from manufacturer Labbox, the set suits analytical chemistry, quality-control and teaching laboratories that require Class A measuring pipettes for everyday transfer tasks. Batch certificates are available as a free download to support traceability documentation. Net weight of the pack is 0,138 kg. Clear graduation and standardised colour coding help reduce handling mix-ups when several pipette sizes are in use side by side on the same workstation.

Questions about Measuring pipette, class A, 10 ml, 5 pcs

What is this article?

Measuring pipette, class A, 10 ml, 5 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Graduated pipettes, inside Pipettes & pipette tips, in Lab consumables.

A graduated pipette delivers a chosen volume along a scale, to contain or to deliver as marked. Class A and class B differ in tolerance. A serological pipette is a different, usually plastic, article. Reading the meniscus and delivering correctly, blow-out or not, is printed on the pipette.

A pipette moves a measured volume. A volumetric pipette delivers one line. A graduated pipette delivers along a scale. A Pasteur pipette is an uncalibrated transfer. A piston pipette uses a tip, and the tip has to seal on that pipette. A filter tip adds a barrier so aerosol from the sample does not reach the piston. Serological pipettes are the long graduated tubes used with a controller. The volume and the fit are the specification. Piston pipettes are treated under ISO laboratory apparatus. In-vitro work also meets ISO in vitro diagnostic systems.
