Description

Microplate 384/F-PP clear/white is a sterile 384-well polypropylene microplate with flat-bottom clear wells and a white frame, featuring RecoverMax® well geometry for reduced residual volume and excellent mixing. g-Safe® construction supports centrifugation up to 6000 × g, while the OptiTrack® matrix with high-contrast alphanumeric labelling speeds sample location and helps reduce pipetting errors. Raised well rims and a smooth surface enable reliable sealing, including heat sealing. The exceptionally transparent polypropylene improves sample visibility and offers strong resistance to chemicals, mechanical load and temperature extremes, remaining functional from −86 °C to 100 °C and autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 min. Plates are manufactured without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides that could interfere with bioassays. Supplied by manufacturer Eppendorf as 80 sterile plates (5 bags × 16 plates), this format suits automated screening, storage and assay work that needs clear wells, robust polypropylene performance and secure sealing in a 384-well flat-bottom layout.

Questions about Microplate384/F-PP clear/white ster.80pl

What is this article?

Microplate384/F-PP clear/white ster.80pl is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
