Description

Mixing and Dosing Container, Opening Ø 132 mm, 60 l, with Valve is a robust low-density polyethylene vessel for laboratory and industrial mixing and dosing tasks. The containers close absolutely tightly and are thick-walled, seamless, impact-resistant and stress-free sintered. The wide-neck filling opening of 132 mm diameter enables safe and convenient filling. A 3/4'' internal thread at the container bottom together with the valve allows controlled dispensing. Suitable for food contact, the container has a nominal volume of 60 l, a height of 600 mm and a net weight of 5,201 kg. Manufactured by Bürkle, the LDPE construction offers durability and chemical resistance for handling liquids and mixtures. Supplied as one piece, this seamless sintered container supports reliable sample preparation, formulation and transfer workflows while minimising leakage risk in controlled environments.

What is this article?

Mixing/dosing container, open. Ø 132mm, 60l, w/cap is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Sample containers & jars, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A sample container or jar is the vessel the sample travels in, with a closure that survives the trip. The volume and the liner decide whether the sample that arrives is the sample that was taken.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
