Description
Multi-collector, aluminium, 150 cm, with 5 separate chambers of 17 ml volume each is a zone sampler designed for simultaneous target-point sampling from different layers of bulk solids. Separate collection chambers allow differentiated sampling from bags, drums, silos, big bags or heaps, so individual zone samples can be analysed separately or combined into a representative mixed sample. The aluminium construction is substantially lighter than stainless steel, easing handling and transport in field work and weight-sensitive settings, while remaining robust and suitable for autoclaving and flaming to minimise contamination risk. A minimal gap between inner and outer tube supports accurate sampling; the removable tip simplifies cleaning and helps prevent cross-contamination between runs. Colour-coded caps aid identification when several samplers are in use. From manufacturer Bürkle, the unit can be inserted vertically or horizontally. Typical applications include homogeneity and quality checks on powders, granules, grains, nuts and similar materials in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, construction and R&D environments. Close the handle clockwise before insertion, open at the target depth to fill the chambers, then close again before withdrawal.

Questions about Multi sampler, Alu, 150cm, 5 chambers per 17 ml
What is this article?
Multi sampler, Alu, 150cm, 5 chambers per 17 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Other lab tools & accessories, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
This shelf is the bench tools that do not belong to a narrower rack: odd holders, small aids, pieces that complete a setup. The useful check is what the tool touches, and whether that contact adds a contaminant.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
