The tape consists of aluminium foil with a PE release liner and is suitable as a water vapour barrier, for sealing joints and cracks, and for repairing metal containers. It is UV- and ageing-resistant and remains writable with ballpoint and felt-tip pens. The foil is 99 % aluminium and offers a working temperature range from −40 °C to +140 °C.
