Installation is straightforward: the existing tap aerator is removed and the EyePod is screwed firmly onto the faucet without impairing normal tap operation. In an emergency the tap is opened and the front section of the unit is rotated 180°, instantly activating the eyewash stream. AXION® flow and spray technology delivers reverse washing currents that gently flush contaminants outward from the eye and nasal cavity, supporting more effective cleansing than conventional eyewash designs. An integrated thermostat automatically stops water flow once the temperature reaches 37 °C, helping prevent scalding of the eyes; flow resumes when the temperature falls again.
