Description
PH8500-HF portable pH meter supports accurate determination of pH, ORP (electrode available separately) and temperature in strongly acidic solutions and hydrofluoric acid. It is supplied with the LabSen® 833 pH/temperature electrode, which uses a specialised HF-resistant glass membrane that markedly extends electrode life; HF-containing solutions can be measured approximately 1000 times under stated conditions (25 °C, 1 % HF, 1 min measurement). The electrode includes an integrated temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation up to 100 °C. Encased in a silicone sleeve and rated IP57, the meter from APERA Instruments withstands water, dust and rough field conditions; a fold-out stand facilitates bench use. Features comprise quick 1- to 3-point calibration, a large backlit LCD showing pH and temperature with calibration details, self-diagnosis, GLP data management for 500 memory groups and USB data output including real-time logging. Ranges are pH −2,00 to 16,00 (resolution 0,1/0,01, accuracy ±0,01 pH), mV ±2000 and temperature 0 to 100 °C. The kit contains the meter, LabSen® 833 electrode, calibration solutions pH 4,00, pH 7,00 and pH 10,01 (50 ml each), USB cable, USB stick with PC-Link software, screwdriver, manual and carrying case.
