Portable precision balance, Series HCB, 6000 g is a higher-capacity laboratory weighing instrument suited to routine precision tasks in analytical, production-support and teaching environments. Application modes cover weighing, percentage calculation, piece counting, underfloor weighing and weight totalisation for versatile sample handling. USB and RS-232 interfaces facilitate data transfer to laboratory computers and documentation systems. The stackable housing design enables compact storage of multiple units. ShockProtect™ overload protection allows loading up to 200 kg without harming the weighing mechanism, and automatic internal calibration supports consistent readiness. Power is provided by an internal rechargeable battery with automatic shut-off for portable use and energy economy; the balance can also be secured using a chain and Kensington™ lock. This 6000 g model is supplied without a removable draft shield. External dimensions are 170 × 245 × 80 mm and net weight is 2,000 kg. From manufacturer Labbox, the instrument is delivered with a handbook, runs on 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz and carries a three-year warranty. An optional manufacturer calibration certificate may be ordered together with the balance.
