Description
Präzitherm® precision hot plate type ET is a digital laboratory heating plate for applications from room temperature to 350 °C where external temperature control is already available. The anodised aluminium heating surface measures 200 × 200 mm and provides 800 W at 230 V AC, combining a compact format with solid thermal output for sample work, media warming and process heating. Thanks to an asymmetric, fast-response special heating design with heat sensors and automatic power adaptation to the heat demand, the plate reaches precise temperatures and maintains very uniform distribution over the full working area. Overtemperature protection is integrated for added operational safety. Supplied without a controller, this type ET unit from manufacturer Gestigkeit is intended for integration into existing control systems or multi-zone setups that manage setpoint and regulation externally. The single-piece configuration is well suited to professional laboratories and technical installations that need a reliable, evenly heated surface without a dedicated local regulator.

Questions about Precision hotplate 200x200mm, type ET, without controller, 350°C
What is this article?
Precision hotplate 200x200mm, type ET, without controller, 350°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Gestigkeit for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
