Description
Premium magnetic stirrer with hot plate 2005LED is a laboratory magnetic stirrer featuring a square hot plate and a modern control-panel housing. LED displays, each 13 mm high, present setpoint and actual values for temperature, stirring speed and time for clear readability. The housing is die-cast aluminium. An integrated PID control programme with Pt1000 sensor supports accurate temperature regulation and stirring speed. Large knobs adjust heating and stirring. The stainless-steel hot plate with ceramic coating measures 185 × 185 mm, offers high mechanical strength and reaches up to 550 °C at 1000 W heating power. Dual over-temperature protection is provided by device software and a temperature sensor. Soft motor start-up reduces stir-bar jump-out; a warning indication appears from 50 °C surface temperature. A digital timer covers 0 to 99 h 59 min. Speed is adjustable from 50 to 1500 min⁻¹ for up to 20 l. Dimensions are 220 × 350 × 100 mm; weight is 6 kg; supply is 200 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz. Delivery from manufacturer Windaus (Winlab®) includes magnetic stirring bar and Pt1000 temperature sensor as 1 pc.

Questions about Premium magnetic stirrer with heating plate 2005LED
What is this article?
Premium magnetic stirrer with heating plate 2005LED is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
