Description

ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose is a sterile, ready-to-use high-glucose Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium prepared without glutamine, without pyruvate and without phenol red. This CELLPURE® liquid medium is intended for mammalian cell culture applications that require a clear, indicator-free basal formulation and flexible supplementation of glutamine and other additives by the user. Physical characteristics include a density of about 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point near 100 °C, typical of aqueous culture media. The product is offered in a 500 ml unit for convenient laboratory handling and direct use. Available from manufacturer Carl ROTH, this high-glucose DMEM supports research workflows in which phenol red would interfere with optical readouts or downstream imaging, and where glutamine-free composition allows tailored amino-acid control. It fits classical cell culture protocols for maintenance and expansion once the medium is completed with the supplements required by the specific cell line and experimental design.

Questions about ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose, sterile, w/o Glutamin, w/o Pyruvat,, 500 ml

What is this article?

ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose, sterile, w/o Glutamin, w/o Pyruvat,, 500 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Carbohydrates & sugars, inside Biochemicals & reagents, in Life Science & Microbiology.

A carbohydrate reagent is a sugar or a derivative, specified by identity, anomer where it matters, and purity. Hydrate and anhydrous forms change the mass. A culture-grade sugar and an analytical standard of the same name are different bottles.

A biochemical is a molecule of life, sold as a reagent: an amino acid, a sugar, a nucleotide, a lipid, an enzyme, an antibiotic. The difference from a bulk chemical is that the use is a biological one, and the impurities that matter are the ones that change that use. An enzyme is specified by activity, not only by mass. An antibiotic is specified by potency. Papers are on PubMed. Structures are on PubChem. Strains and lines that consume these reagents are at ATCC.
