Description

ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose is a sterile, ready-to-use high-glucose Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium containing stable glutamine and HEPES for buffered mammalian cell culture. Supplied as a CELLPURE® grade liquid, it combines elevated glucose with a stable glutamine source and the zwitterionic buffer HEPES to support pH stability outside pure CO2-dependent conditions. The medium has a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point near 100 °C, consistent with standard aqueous formulations. Packaged as 500 ml ready-to-use medium, it is suited to laboratories that need a complete high-glucose DMEM base with built-in buffering capacity. This preparation from manufacturer Carl ROTH is appropriate for cell biology work requiring reliable nutrient supply and improved pH control during handling, transport between incubators, or brief ambient exposure. It integrates into classical culture schemes for growth and maintenance of lines that perform well on high-glucose DMEM with stable glutamine and HEPES.

Questions about ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose, sterile, with stable glutamine and HEPES, 500 ml

What is this article?

ROTI®Cell DMEM High Glucose, sterile, with stable glutamine and HEPES, 500 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Carbohydrates & sugars, inside Biochemicals & reagents, in Life Science & Microbiology.

A carbohydrate reagent is a sugar or a derivative, specified by identity, anomer where it matters, and purity. Hydrate and anhydrous forms change the mass. A culture-grade sugar and an analytical standard of the same name are different bottles.

A biochemical is a molecule of life, sold as a reagent: an amino acid, a sugar, a nucleotide, a lipid, an enzyme, an antibiotic. The difference from a bulk chemical is that the use is a biological one, and the impurities that matter are the ones that change that use. An enzyme is specified by activity, not only by mass. An antibiotic is specified by potency. Papers are on PubMed. Structures are on PubChem. Strains and lines that consume these reagents are at ATCC.
