Description

ROTI®Cell Hybridoma Medium is a CELLPURE sterile cell-culture medium formulated without glutamine and without phenol red for hybridoma and related mammalian culture work. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is about 100 °C, in line with aqueous culture media. The phenol-red-free composition supports optical readouts and imaging where indicator colour could interfere, while the glutamine-free design lets users add glutamine according to their own feeding strategy. Supplied in a 500 ml plastic pack from manufacturer Carl ROTH, the medium is practical for routine hybridoma maintenance, expansion and screening workflows. Sterile CELLPURE quality supports controlled handling in the cell-culture suite. Clear formulation notes on glutamine and phenol red help align the medium with established hybridoma protocols and specialised culture conditions that demand a defined basal environment.

What is this article?

ROTI®Cell Hybridoma Medium, CELLPURE, steril, w/o Glutamine, , 500 ml, plastic is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Click chemistry, bioconjugation & synthesis reagents, inside Biochemicals & reagents, in Microbiology lab supplies.

Click and bioconjugation reagents join two molecules under mild conditions, often an azide to an alkyne, or an NHS ester to an amine. The linker length and the reactive group are the specification. They are small bottles of a reactive compound, and moisture often ruins them.

A biochemical is a molecule of life, sold as a reagent: an amino acid, a sugar, a nucleotide, a lipid, an enzyme, an antibiotic. The difference from a bulk chemical is that the use is a biological one, and the impurities that matter are the ones that change that use. An enzyme is specified by activity, not only by mass. An antibiotic is specified by potency. Papers are on PubMed. Structures are on PubChem. Strains and lines that consume these reagents are at ATCC.
