Safety Waste Cap, B83, Type 4 is a laboratory closure engineered for the safe collection of HPLC solvent waste and other hazardous liquids. It features four ports for tubing of 2,3/3,2 mm outer diameter, one additional adjustable port for 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter tubing, a grounding connection and a dedicated exhaust-filter port. The body is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), offering strong resistance to aggressive chemical media. A 360° freely rotatable PTFE design allows waste containers to be exchanged quickly without disconnecting fixed tubing, saving time and limiting vapour escape. The integrated filter port is compatible with SCAT high-performance exhaust filters V3.0, supporting containment of toxic fumes during waste collection.
