Safety Waste Cap "LISA" V3.0 – S60/61 is a modular laboratory closure engineered for the safe disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. Fabricated from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for outstanding chemical resistance, the S60/61-thread base module anchors a universally expandable modular system that provides an exceptionally high number of individual threads, connections and expansion possibilities. A 360° freely rotatable screw cap permits effortless container exchange without twisting the tubing. Four fittings of improved design simplify connection of capillaries with 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter, while three hose connectors accept larger tubing of 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter. Four PFA blind plugs and three PTFE blind plugs seal unused ports; an integrated exhaust-filter port accepts activated-carbon filters that block harmful vapours and ensure safe pressure equalisation. PTFE satellites and blind plugs allow extension and secure attachment of components such as funnels. Supplied complete with 23 accessory parts, the kit from manufacturer SCAT is immediately ready for use in analytical laboratories requiring reliable solvent-waste management.
