Description

Bunsen burner for butane and propane gas with safety valve and 1/4'' threaded connection delivers controlled laboratory heating with an added flame-failure safeguard. It combines a needle valve and flame stabiliser with a safety valve that stops the gas supply if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly. The safety valves are homologated and supplied with a CE certificate of conformity in line with EU Directive 2016/426. The burner tube is nickel-plated brass, 11 mm in diameter by 130 mm in height, forming a compact unit for bench use. This model from manufacturer Labbox is designed for butane and propane and works within a pressure range of 30–200 mbar, with 50–150 mbar recommended. The 1/4'' threaded inlet secures the gas line without a hose clamp. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,479 kg, it suits teaching labs, research benches and quality-control settings that require adjustable open-flame heating together with automatic shut-off for safer daily operation.

Questions about Sekur-flam burner for LPG, 1/4 male thread connection

What is this article?

Sekur-flam burner for LPG, 1/4 male thread connection is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bunsen & gas burners, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A Bunsen or gas burner is an open flame for quick heating, for flaming a loop, or for bending glass. The gas, natural gas or cartridge, has to match the burner. It is the wrong heat for a flammable solvent.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
