Description

Bunsen burner with safety shut-off for polygas and a 1/4” threaded connection is a laboratory gas burner fitted with a needle valve and flame stabiliser for controlled flame adjustment. A homologated safety valve interrupts the gas supply if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly, and the valves are supplied with a CE certificate of conformity in line with EU Directive 2016/426. The burner tube is made of nickel-plated brass and measures 11 mm in diameter by 150 mm in height on this model. The 1/4” threaded gas inlet provides a secure fixed connection to the supply line. Operating pressure covers 30–200 mbar, with 50–150 mbar recommended for routine work. Net weight is 0,479 kg. Suitable for general heating, sterilisation of tools, and flame work at the bench, this unit from manufacturer Labbox combines mechanical robustness with automatic flame-failure protection for polygas laboratory installations.

Questions about Sekur-flam burner, polygas, 1/4” male thread connection

What is this article?

Sekur-flam burner, polygas, 1/4” male thread connection is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bunsen & gas burners, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A Bunsen or gas burner is an open flame for quick heating, for flaming a loop, or for bending glass. The gas, natural gas or cartridge, has to match the burner. It is the wrong heat for a flammable solvent.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
