Description

SenTix® 980-P is an IDS pH combination electrode with a glass shaft, liquid electrolyte (3 mol/l KCl) and a platinum diaphragm, complete with a built-in temperature sensor. The glass body and platinum diaphragm are suited to demanding laboratory samples, while the 3 mol/l KCl liquid electrolyte maintains a stable reference junction. Integrated temperature sensing supports automatic temperature compensation. As an intelligent digital sensor it stores up to ten calibrations and retains a stored serial number for clear measurement traceability. QSC capability enables quality sensor check procedures that help verify electrode status throughout its service life. The plug-head connector accepts AS IDS/1.5 cables or a wireless module, allowing wired or radio connectivity as needed. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,243 kg, this electrode from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand is designed for precise digital pH work where a glass shaft and platinum diaphragm are preferred. IDS architecture keeps calibration data with the sensor, simplifying multi-instrument use and laboratory documentation.

What is this article?

SenTix® 980-P, IDS pH combination electrode with liquid electrolyte (3 mol/l KCl is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.

A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
