Description

Si-1 TP (LR) silicate/silicic acid powder test is a photometric reagent kit for low-range determination of silicate in the measuring range 0,005–0,75 mg/l Si. Designed for a 10 ml sample volume, each pack contains reagents for 100 tests and works with 20 mm and 28 mm round cuvettes. The analysis employs the heteropoly blue method and complies with DIN 38405 D21 together with US Standard Methods 4500-Si D/E. The kit is compatible with PhotoLab® laboratory spectrophotometers and pHotoFlex® portable photometers. Available from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, it is suited to environmental water analysis, boiler-feed monitoring and industrial quality control where precise low-level silicate data are required. Combicheck is not provided; batch certificates can be requested when needed. The powder reagents offer convenient handling and consistent results for routine silicic-acid measurements under controlled laboratory conditions, delivering a standardised workflow for accurate low-range silicate quantification.

Questions about Si-1 TP (LR), Silicate/Silica Powder pillow Measuring rang

What is this article?

Si-1 TP (LR), Silicate/Silica Powder pillow Measuring rang is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
