Description

Si-2 TP (HR) silicate/silicic acid powder test is a photometric reagent kit for high-range determination of silicate across the measuring range 0,5–46,7 mg/l Si. Intended for a 10 ml sample volume, each pack provides material for 100 tests and is used with 20 mm and 28 mm round cuvettes. The procedure is based on the silicomolybdate method and corresponds to US Standard Methods 4500-SiO2 C. The reagents operate with PhotoLab® spectrophotometers and pHotoFlex® portable photometers. Supplied by manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, the kit supports water-quality assessment in environmental laboratories, industrial process streams and cooling-water systems where elevated silicate levels must be quantified. Combicheck is not included; batch certificates are obtainable on request. The powder format ensures simple dosing and dependable performance for repeated high-range silicate analyses under standard laboratory conditions, offering a clear, standardised route to reliable silicic-acid results.

Questions about Si-2 TP (HR), Silicate/Silica Powder pillow Measuring rang

What is this article?

Si-2 TP (HR), Silicate/Silica Powder pillow Measuring rang is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
