Because nothing may be placed on the tank bottom of the ultrasonic bath, matching perforated lids are employed to hold insert beakers securely. This perforated lid from manufacturer Bandelin allows several insert beakers containing different liquids to be sonicated at the same time; typical examples include removal of dental cements with STAMMOPUR Z in one beaker and simultaneous cleaning plus chemical disinfection of dental instruments with STAMMOPUR DR 8 in a second beaker. The design therefore supports flexible multi-process workflows in dental and general laboratory cleaning.
