Description
Standard incubator BF720-230V is a forced-air laboratory incubator for controlled incubation from +10 °C above ambient temperature up to +100 °C. With a nominal volume of 734 l, the chamber is intended for routine and high-throughput incubation tasks, including fully loaded operation and large batch volumes. APT.line™ technology supports homogeneous temperature distribution, while extended timing functions and an adjustable fan allow temperature parameters and circulating-air conditions to be set with precision. The unit from manufacturer Binder uses a controller with LCD display, electromechanical exhaust-flap control, and a USB port for data recording. An inner door of safety glass (ESG), two chrome-plated shelves, and four stable castors—two with locking brakes—facilitate daily handling of this large-capacity model. An integrated class 3.1 temperature selector monitor to DIN 12880 provides an optical alarm. Program memory and Ethernet connectivity support programmable temperature workflows. Relative to typical comparable devices, the design can reduce energy use by up to 30 %.

Questions about Standard-Incubators BF720-230V
What is this article?
Standard-Incubators BF720-230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
