They convert 2 ml tube positions so that 0,2 ml PCR vessels can be centrifuged securely, enabling small-volume molecular biology and PCR workflows on the same instrument. Supplied as eight pieces, the set allows several rotor positions to be adapted in one run or spare inserts to be held in reserve.
