Description
SY 100.2 reactor lid DN 100 is a precision reactor cover for the EasySyn reactor system. With flange size DN 100, it fits reactor vessels of 100 ml (SY 100 and SY 100 D), 250 ml (SY 250 and SY 250 D), 500 ml (SY 500 and SY 500 D) and 1000 ml (SY 1000 and SY 1000 D). Multiple access ports comprise four NS 29/32 ground joints, one NS 14/23 ground joint and two GL 18 threaded openings, allowing flexible arrangement of stirrers, sensors, condensers and feed lines during synthesis. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 1,020 kg, the lid integrates into laboratory reactor setups from manufacturer IKA. Standardised flange and joint geometry support reliable sealing and interchangeability across the EasySyn vessel range. It is a practical choice for process development, scale-up studies and routine organic or inorganic reactions in research and industrial laboratories where multi-port access and vessel compatibility are essential.

Questions about SY 100.2, Reactor lid DN 100
What is this article?
SY 100.2, Reactor lid DN 100 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Reaction vessels & jacketed vessels, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.
A reaction vessel is the flask a synthesis actually runs in, sometimes jacketed so a fluid can heat or cool the wall. The joints, the working volume and the jacket connections are the specification. It is not a storage bottle.
A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
Which category should I open next?
