DURAN® laboratory screw-cap bottle 2000 ml is a clear wide-neck glass bottle with GLS 80 thread, manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3. Measuring 248 mm in height and 136 mm in diameter, the spacious wide neck eases filling, decanting and cleaning of larger sample or reagent volumes. Hydrolytic resistance meets DIN ISO 719 Class 1, so DURAN® is recognised as neutral glass (glass type 1) according to USP/EP. Acid resistance corresponds to DIN 12 116 Class 1, and alkali resistance to ISO 695 Class 2. The bottle can be used up to a maximum of 500 °C, provides high thermal shock resistance and is microwave-compatible for flexible laboratory heating and storage.
