twin.tec® Trace PCR Plate 96 BioBased is a skirted 96-well PCR plate finished in spring green and developed to lower the CO2 footprint associated with laboratory consumables. Each well provides a 150 µL volume with extremely thin-walled polypropylene for optimal temperature transfer during thermal cycling. The torsion-resistant, heat-stable polycarbonate frame maintains plate integrity without warping or breaking in incubators or centrifuges, while raised well rims aid effective sealing and help limit cross-contamination. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on every plate enhance process documentation, and the OptiTrack® matrix with optical guide grid supports rapid well identification during manual work. One-piece design from manufacturer Eppendorf links a robust frame to polypropylene wells for dependable performance. Supplied PCR clean and batch-certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors, these ACT-certified plates (My Green Lab) come in packs of 25; barcode options are available on request for automated tracking.
