Its one-piece construction unites a polycarbonate frame with polypropylene wells for dependable mechanical strength and efficient heat transfer. Extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells ensure optimal temperature transfer during cycling, while the exceptionally stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame prevents warping, bending or breakage in incubation or centrifugation steps. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on each plate improve laboratory traceability. A unique laser-engraved optical guidance grid with the OptiTrack® matrix enables rapid well alignment for manual pipetting. Raised well rims promote effective sealing and reduce cross-contamination risk.
