twin.tec® Trace PCR Plates 96 BioBased are clear, semi-skirted PCR plates with a 250 µL well volume, engineered to support consistent thermal cycling while lowering the CO2 footprint associated with laboratory consumables. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on every plate improve process traceability, and the distinctive laser-engraved optical guidance grid with OptiTrack® matrix enables fast, confident well alignment during manual pipetting. A one-piece design joins a polycarbonate frame to polypropylene wells for balanced mechanical and thermal performance: the extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells deliver optimal temperature transfer, whereas the exceptionally stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame resists warping, bending or breaking during incubation or centrifugation. Raised well rims promote effective sealing and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Batch-tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors (PCR clean), these plates from manufacturer Eppendorf are supplied in packs of 25. They carry ACT certification based on independent sustainability validation by My Green Lab, and barcode versions are available on request.
