Description
Ultra Clear RO DI 20 is a reverse osmosis pure water system with integrated deionisation module for economical production of Type II pure water. At 15 °C the permeate output is 20 l/h. The RO stage provides a minimum salt retention rate of 96 % and a typical average of 98 %, with germ reduction greater than 95 %. Minimum pure-water conductivity is specified at 28 µS/cm; maximum feed-water conductivity is 1400 µS/cm. Typical applications include feed to ultrapure water systems, laboratory dishwashers, photometry, spectrophotometry and media preparation. Feed water must be softened or hardness-stabilised, with a demand of up to about 50 l/h, inlet pressure 0,1–5,0 bar and temperature 5–30 °C. The compact unit measures 530 mm in height, 340 mm in width and 420 mm in depth, with a net weight of 27 kg, and connects via 100–240 VAC at a maximum energy demand of 0,2 kW/h. Reverse osmosis combined with deionisation delivers consistent Type II quality for routine laboratory workflows. The system from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies is intended for continuous pure-water supply where reliable Type II performance is required.

Questions about Ultra Clear RO DI 20 - Reverse Osmosis Pure Water System
What is this article?
Ultra Clear RO DI 20 - Reverse Osmosis Pure Water System is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
